I only wish we'd got some proper shelter set up by now. It's my fault, really - if only I hadn't bust this stupid arm of mine, rigging up that wooden frame. I'm so sorry, everyone - I hate to be useless. I just hope we can get something sorted by the time the rain hits….

I owe so much to our good doctors - to Dr Cheshire for clearing a path through the gorse, and to Dr Caulfield for setting up our triage area. I don't know what I'd have done without the two of them - as it stands, so to speak, I'm up and walking again… and this dratted leg is feeling so much better already.

Miss Lund, are you sure that the tower on the big hill is a ruin? Because I saw a light there last night, did you see it? It was big and round and shiny like the sun, but it wasn't the sun because it was at night, and I could look at it without it hurting my eyes like the sun. It was so pretty! I wish I could go there.

The weather on the island is beginning to deteriorate a little, with drizzle just this afternoon. The crew suspect it won't be long before a proper downpour, which means proper shelter is suddenly an urgent priority.
