I don't wish to alarm, but it must be said that someone has been taking things from our communal stores. I would like to offer an amnesty to whoever took the Russian dolls, the cigars and the tin of boiled sweets. This is a difficult situation and we must work together if we are to survive. Stealing like this is cowardly and, while these items were not of immediate importance to our survival, is the sort of thing that puts everyone in danger.

This? Oh, this is the game of checkers I won. Daphne was supposed to be teaching me, although I have to say I was rather teaching her, by the end.
