It is with a heart full of conflicting emotion that I must announce the attempted mutiny has been suppressed owing to lack of support; the ringleaders, Brendan Shaw and Sassa Lund, have been placed under guard pending trial. I have seen what happens to a people left without the guiding hand of law - the unspeakable acts that consume them. I may not be fit for much, but if I can spare us all that horror, then I will gladly give my life for the purpose.

Did you hear? Jennet agreed to take Lizzie Campbell's place, and has gone to join the seals. A real hero, that one. I hope she's happy. Still, little Lizzie hasn't come back yet, and I'm starting to get worried. I heard her mother has been found, and I really think it would do the girl some good to see her after everything that's happened.
