An announcement. Gerda Maier is dead, killed by that dangerous mutineer Brendan Shaw, who is still at large - a menace to us all. Now. Some of us were unduly harsh on Gerda while she lived, but it is clear that she was a courageous, honorable person who gave her life to help keep the rest of us safe. The weapon Brendan used to kill her has been found embedded in the rocks below the northern cliff, but there is no sign of Gerda's body.
